Dance has given Nandita peace and happiness; dance has given her a reason to move on. All the years of pain and trauma that she faced, not to mention the sadness in not being able to do so many little things that other children her age could do, has borne fruit now. Every performance that she renders is a gratification of her hard work, dedication, patience and perseverance. Through her story and her dancing, she does her bit towards society by imparting a strong social message of strength and helps children, the world over to be courageous, confident achievers.
The Neroor family has been told many a time that Nandita is not just their pride and joy, but the pride and joy of every person in this world. Nandita’s success reflects her inner strength and her will to overcome and succeed. Although one is empowered by the problems they face, true empowerment begins only when the problem ends and life goes on. What you make of yourself despite the odds shows your true strength of character and this is what Nandita has managed to do.
As Nandita continues her journey, to drive home the message that “where there is a will, there is a way” what she needs are your blessings and support which will go a long way in helping this young achiever move from strength to strength.
